Light 'em Up Baby!

Hello everybody! This week Sasha Cohen was the guest skater. If you are reading this on the web, you can see the wires getting attached to my skates. I first put on the fat suit, run the wires from my wrist down my back, and then slip on the rest of the outfit. The head pyro tech, Jeska Amspoker attaches the matches to the wires and tapes everything down. Nice how they get the safety goggles and nothing for me, eh? This small corner is all I can stay in while dressing...if I step out any farther then people on the 3rd and 4th level can see an undressed Santa. Therefore, I have to throw everything on so I can walk around and warm up. The flame retardant spray leaves an icky residue which always gets on your hands when dressing. HOWEVER, I am totally ok with this...I will take icky residue on my hands over being on fire any day. The show went well and a good time was had by all. Till next week!

Be well,
Dan
