Comedy Routines & Blog
For nearly a decade, I had the incredible privilege of performing as a full cast member of Champions On Ice, bringing laughter and joy to audiences across North America and beyond. From sold-out arenas to intimate venues, I've performed well over 1,000 shows, sharing the ice with Olympic champions and world-class athletes while developing my signature comedic style.
My journey took me from competitive achievements as a two-time National Bronze Medalist and World Team Member to the professional stage as the 2000 American Open Professional Champion. But it was in the touring world where I truly found my calling - combining technical excellence with entertainment that connects with audiences of all ages.
Each routine below represents not just a performance, but a story crafted through years of experience, countless hours of practice, and the unique perspective that comes from performing night after night in front of live audiences around the world.
I have wanted to create a Popeye routine for quite some time now. Two years ago, I put together a solo version of Popeye for Mike Weissβ show, but it just didnβt feel right.
I had an idea a few years ago to do the βBest of COIβ as directed by Tom Collins. His voice would challenge me to be as good as the other skaters. When he named a skater, I would imitate them to the best of my ability.
I have been "training" Santa at the Gallery Mall in Texas since 2000! I decided to put together a fun video showing Santa getting back into shape to perform. For some reason little kids love watching this video!
I have always liked the βsteppingβ that the college teams do, which I attempted to add to my Super Hero routine with the βHoller Back Girl.β
Where do I even begin? What an amazing day. Iβll just give a brief explanation of what happened and let the videos speak for themselves.
So in wracking my brain to come up with a second routine for Sun Valley this year, Marcia told me I had to do a Beyonce routine based on the SNL skit with Justin Timberlake.
This year Sun Valley decided on a western theme. I have always loved the song βDearly Belovedβ by Faith Hill. It is all about this shot gun wedding in which everyone is flirting with everyone else, with the main part being, βTheyβll be together forever till they find somebody new.β It just cracks me up.
I heard this GREAT song βIβm Yoursβ by Jason Mraz. I couldnβt stop listen to it, knowing that I would eventually skate to it (just like Heaven is a Half Pipe for βAngelβ).
I have been working on this routine for close to five years! I knew that I wanted to figure out a way to have muscles that can pump up, like using a bicycle pump or something.
I feel this is my most creative story line routine to date. I was at the NJS (now simply called IJS) seminar and decided to do a routine that would spoof our sport.
So the previous year was a bit of a cop out for a fresh routine by copying Doubtfire. This year I really wanted to come up with something good. Years back I heard Craig Heath, a very talented skated, talking about doing a Richard Simmons number. Well, it was years later, and I knew my version would be completely different.
The Nun routine was created for one reason onlyβ¦to not have to do Doubtfire again that year on COI. I knew Tom Collins loved that routine, so I figured if I copied it
Ahhβ¦one of my favorite numbers that Tom Collins canβt stand. This a great routine Tommy!!! I was returning an item to Circuit City and in the middle of the transaction I heard, ββ¦if I die before I wake, at least in Heaven I can skateβ¦β
I totally ripped this off, and I am happy to admit it. Not wanting to be forced to do Doubtfire again on COI (I felt the audience still deserved something new), I started to think,
I always liked the Barber of Seville and used it for short program. I was mad that I had all these great ideas for 2 people and no pair or dance team seemed willing to try any of my ideas.
This is by far my most popular routine. I knew as soon as Doubtfire hit the theaters, watching the cleaning scene, that I wanted to put that on the ice.
went to a Tap Dogs show ready to find a way to put this cool show on the ice. There was this one part when one guy would tap out a rhythm and the other guy would follow it.
Finally I hit my big break placing 3rd in the U.S. Tom Collins invited me to skate on his tour, the same tour that I saw Scott Hamilton when I was 5.
SKATING BLOG
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We kicked off another holiday season with Olympianβs Meryl Davis and Charlie White! It feels as if the year passed us by at the speed of light. Fridayβs show was a hit with Santa coming out in tip top shape as trained by Dan Hollander and Cindy Silk!
Come see Scott Hamilton and Sarah Hughes host this incredible fundraising show. With many great skaters coming together for such a great cause, you wonβt want to miss it!
"Working on making my directorial debut with a 16 minute short film (to be dedicated to the memory of my dad as he was the inspiration for the script)....."
Check it outβ¦you have the opportunity to join the cast and skate in the show! Go to Skate for Hope for more info!
Santa has had quite the adventure over the last two weekends! I came in a day early for Santa to make an appearance on the local news. When I landed Thursday night, the ice storm was hitting Dallas full force.
The Galleria ice show has a great line up of stars this year. This weekend had not one, but two very special guest stars. First is the amazing and highly entertaining, KURT BROWNING!
Day one started off with a bang! This massive group of 35 plus skaters are here to work hard and have fun!
My good friend Richard Brown asked me to join his mini production team of 6 to compete at the Michigan Showcase. A collaboration of our twisted minds came up with an idea that can't possibly be beat! That is this Sunday, June 2nd, at 9:30am!
Houston contacted me for a wonderful NYE bash. The headliners were going to be KC and the Sunshine band! I packed my gear (Doubtfire and Richard Simmons) which took up a LOT of space!
anta has been very busy this year! A hysterical thing to happened on the second weekend. A little skater in the show is very afraid of Santa.
On October 22, 2013 a lawsuit was filed against Ann Endres by Dan Hollander and Marcia Little alleging defamation and interference with a contractual relationship or expectancy. On October 30th, 2014 a settlement was reached for a non-disclosed amount of money to be paid to Dan and Marcia, and an apology letter by Ann Endres to be disseminated.
This video resume is one of my favorites to date. William is a student of mine who is trying to be selected by Canada for a two week camp at the International Olympic Academy in Greece.
